Artemis

Artemis came into my life in May 1998 just before I moved across the country from New Mexico to Maryland, with a two-week stop in Minnesota at my parents' house.  Her mama was found in a friend's yard with her liter about two days after the kittens were born.  My friend ended up keeping mama and Artemis's two brothers (leaving them with six or seven cats in the house!), since no one else wanted a cat at the time.  I felt guilty taking Ares away from his friend, Little Cat, at the house I was living in, so took Artemis in hopes that she and Ares would become friends....and after that first cross country trip to Maryland, they seem to get along quite well.
