Ares and the Christmas Tree

Ares wasn't quite sure what to do with the tree when it first arrived, but he quickly warmed up to it, as shown in the pictures below.

Here Ares is checking out the tree while it's still wrapped in that plastic mesh the tree place uses to keep the tree from shedding too much on the trip home.
Once the tree was put in the stand, Ares had to check it out anew.

And he warms up even more when I've put some gifts and stuffed animals under the tree.
 Ares even likes it more with stuffed animals to lay on
