Where to Stay

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Old Town Sheraton Suites. The hotel is just a block away from the Stardust Restaurant.

Dates:	Rooms are reserved for the nights of September 18 and 19. However, wedding guests may extend their stay at group rate before or after those dates.

Area Airports

The Washington DC area is served by three airports. We recommend Reagan National as the best choice for its proximity to Alexandria.

Reagan National Airport (code: DCA) is the closest to Alexandria and the hotel. The Sheraton Hotel where we've reserved rooms offers a shuttle from DCA. However, DCA is a fairly small airport, meaning flights to DCA may be fewer and somewhat more expensive than flights to the other airports.
Dulles International Airport (code: IAD) is also a good choice. It'll take you longer to get to the hotel, and the Sheraton does not offer a shuttle; however, Dulles is the busiest airport on the eastern seaboard, so you'll probably have lots of flights to choose from, and they may be cheaper than the corresponding flights to Reagan National. If you don't want to rent a car, you can catch a shuttle to the West Falls Church metro station and then take the metro to the Reagan National stop, and the Sheraton shuttle from there.
Baltimore-Washington International (code: BWI) is quite far, about an hour and a half's driving along various busy highways. You should only consider BWI if you get an amazingly good price on the plane ticket and are willing to rent a car. (It would be possible to get from BWI to our area using public transport, but the route would be agonizingly long and slow. Ask us if you want the details.)

Registry

I know that all the bridal etiquette books say that the bride and groom are not to mention gifts or gift registries, but I've never been one to follow etiquette too closely. We are registered at the following places:
