My Head Feels Funny….

…maybe it’s the foot of hair that’s missing.

Yup. You heard me right. A foot of hair.

Here’s my before and after:
Haircut Before &nbsp Haircut After

And the leftover ponytail of hair:
Haircut -- me with pony tail   A foot of hair

That ponytail is going to be sent off to Locks of Love, a charity that makes wigs from hair donations to give to kids losing their hair due to chemotherapy.

Normally, I wouldn’t cut my hair this short, but I wanted to donate at least a foot. I can’t say I really like the results of the cut, but I don’t hate it, either. I’m also a bit dizzy from the “product” stench emanating from my hair right now. The main problem is that it’s too short to make a ponytail. But, you know what, that’s not so bad when you think about the good that my donation will do for some kid who is bald or has patchy hair due to medical problems. My hair will grow back, and I should be able to do a ponytail in another couple months, so I’m going to stop complaining now.

Judging from your right-hand “after” photo, you look adorable with the shorter hair. No complaint from me…

You’re so CUTE!
Plus the shampoo/conditioner is cheaper, you can shower faster, and you get to do that fun hair toss thing you always see in the movies but if you actually try it with real people long hair, you get whiplash.

Thanks guys.
I’m also hoping that my hair will dry a lot faster — it’s a little annoying to have damp hair 2 hours after washing it.
Oh, and my hair DOES move a lot more now — and it’s really weird not to have to pull my hair out from inside a shirt or jacket when I first put it on.

Not sure if I told you this or not, but a few weeks ago I cut my hair off (not that I had anything like yours!) and I heart it. I get to sleep an extra ten minutes now. And I think you look adorable! (But then, I always do. You could be green and warty and I’d still love you. I might hug you less, but I’d love you!)
