To-Do this weekend
Here’s my goals for the weekend — I figure if I make this public, then someone will poke me if I don’t finish something.
- Make plane reservations for Grandma’s 95th birthday party
- Make scripts for contour plots (for thesis)
- Catch up on blog posts: a final montreal post, a Wicked post, a AAS post (probably on Galaxy Girl)
- Go through MN reception scrapbook stuff and order larger prints for some of the pictures
- DDR Saturday and Sunday
I’d better get going!
UPDATE (Sunday Morning): I made the airline reservations (yikes! I should have done that Friday when there was a killer fare — now I’m flying through Atlanta to get to Minneapolis, ick); I’ve DDRed both yesterday and today; and I’m not quite half-way through my thesis sources (I need to make a text file showing the limits for each contour plot for each spectrum in my sample — that’s over 700 individual spectra…this may take longer than I expected).
I have a feeling that my blog and scrapbooking are going to be put off again. Sigh.
Yay for accomplishing goals! I don’t know what DDRing is, but since I don’t know, it’s probably horribly complicated, and I therefore declare: You Go!
Sorry — DDR is “Dance Dance Revolution” — it’s a PlayStation game that gets you up and dancing. It has a work-out mode that I’ve been playing on every night, so I keep track of calories that I’ve burned. This is the first exercise program that I’ve been excited to do — I can hardly wait to play today, and when I had last Monday off, I had to keep myself from playing all day (at that I played for about 2 hours).
